About

At Shinkikan Dojo, we learn classical Okinawan martial arts. Students learn the unarmed and classical weaponry methods of Ryukyu life-protection arts as passed down from Taika Seiyu Oyata.

This is a unique art in which students build an expanding foundation, learn to apply technique on each other, build stronger bodies and technique through weapons training, and learn the strategy and concepts of the classical Ryukyu martial arts.
