In March of 2016, Shinkikan Dojo hosted a seminar taught by Vince Stallone. Mr. Stallone began training in Okinawan Kempo in 1980. In 1992, he moved from Pennsylvania to Missouri in order to train directly under Taika Oyata on a long-term basis. Mr. Stallone was initiated into the original Oyata Shin Shu Ho group, and was later awarded the rank of Rokudan (6th degree black belt) from Oyata Sensei. He operated the Okishinkan Dojo in Missouri. In 2010, Vince Stallone was promoted to Nanadan (7th degree black belt) in Ryukyu Kempo.
